A Word from Leti McManus, CFA - the Founder of Tiger Link

A pure smaller company specialist with a vast amount of experience: 23 years of advising hundreds of international smaller companies on liquidity events and growth capital. Over 80 small cap IPOs completed on stock exchanges across Europe, the US, and Asia.

General insight: During my professional life, I saw far too many good businesses missing opportunities because they were unprepared, misinformed, or simply misunderstood.

Swiss insight: When I moved from London to Zurich over a decade ago, I was struck by how often M&A was treated as the only shareholder/founder liquidity path for Swiss companies. Too many start-ups and scale-ups seemed to carry a (+/-) quiet “for sale” sign once they reached a certain stage. But as the old investment banking saying goes, “good companies get bought, not sold.”

Mission for Tiger Link: I founded Tiger Link Advisors GmbH to transform how shareholder liquidity solutions are approached in Switzerland.

We want to help Swiss start-ups, scale-ups and family businesses prepare early, develop multiple options, and negotiate from a position of strength.

The aim isn't just to secure the best terms for any given transaction - it's about ensuring entrepreneurs aren't forced into selling when they'd rather continue growing their companies, while still enabling shareholders to realise value.

I lead every project personally, drawing on a trusted network of partners who share our belief in the power of optionality. When companies have genuine choices, they make better decisions.
